In November 2009, the former Willow Hotel underwent a major refurbishment and name change. When thinking of a name - the multiculturalism of the area was considered, as too was the need to have an easily identifiable "pub" name - and the name "lion" is an instantly recognisable pub name throughout Europe, in particular the UK. The Red Lion Hotel was born.

The 6 year old, modern hotel is located in the heart of Moorooka's shopping precinct and main street - Beaudesert Road, just over 1km from the Ipswich Road intersection. Our mission statement is very simple and sums up what you can expect from your visit.
